Chris Duck didn't inherit a business. He built one.
Starting with a single HIAB lorry in 1999, inspired by his father Pip and uncle Colin — two well-known names in Somerset haulage during the era of hand-painted lorries and handshake deals — Chris became one of the first operators in the South West to specialise in crane-assisted transport.
Twenty-five years on, the lorries are different. The ethos isn't.
